Our Visionary Pedagogy Advisor
Dr. Anjum Babukhan
Anjum Babukhan is a visionary thought leader, author and educator whose passion for lifelong learning propels her forward to create a world that is empowered through education. In her words, “Education is exploratory, enriching and empowering. It is in our hands to create learning places that are nurturing spaces for every child.” With this powerful desire and vision, the dream called Glendale was born with the mission “to provide a nurturing environment that develops every child’s Multiple Intelligence, Physical Capacities, Creative Potential, 21st Century Life Skills, Multicultural Awareness and imbibes universal Human Values for Holistic Growth.”
Her passions include anything that has qualities of nurturing, rejuvenating, or is rooted in spirituality. She loves nature and all natural things from aromatherapy to zinc. Her hobbies include, reading, journaling, yoga, photography, ikebana, art & other creative pursuits. Ms Anjum Babukhan has successfully carved a niche for herself in multi-faceted areas of enrichment for herself which she loves to share with others including faculty and students at Springfields.
This dynamic yet simple lady of substance has made Glendale Group of institutions, as well as Springfields Group of Schools, abodes of learning & enrichment. Ms Anjum Babukhan lives in Hyderabad with her husband, mother-in-law and has three children.
Academic Achievements
Born and brought up in the United States, Anjum completed her Bachelors with Honors in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago where she worked under various research teams and moved on to pursue her M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her optimistic attitude on life fuelled her honours thesis on ’Savouring the Positive’ that won her the Psychology award. This was just one of the feathers in her academic crown, others being an Outstanding Academic Achievement Awards in the Presidential Academic Fitness Awards Program signed by President Ronald Reagan in 1987 and President George Bush in 1990, an “Academic & Leadership Excellence” Award presented by Hyderabad Foundation of Chicago and being selected in the.
‘Who's Who Among American Junior Colleges’, and even now, she is strong in her academic pursuits in her quest for lifelong learning, with courses like Strategy in Action and Project Zero from Harvard, courses from Cambridge and recently a Design Thinking Course from Stanford Design School. She exemplifies her motto “Learning every day and Loving every minute.”
Book
This passionate educator found a lot of gaps in the teaching scenario when she moved to India in the 90’s after her marriage to Mr Salman Babukhan. The education system in India was outdated and rigid with ‘chalk and talk’, ‘rote and regurgitate’, ‘kill and drill’, being the norm. After she became a mother, she wanted to emulate the benefits of the education she had received for her children. Her thought leadership and extensive research led her into compiling a useful guide book for educators based on time tested brain compatible methodologies, named ‘The ABC’s of Brain Compatible Learning’.
With her passion for sharing knowledge with the education fraternity for the benefit of all children, she also launched a short video series on the chapters of the book and other informative topics as a free resource available for all educators on YouTube.

Anjum has won innumerable awards, accolades and recognition not just individually but for her institutions as well. Anjum has been recognized in many platforms for her exemplary contributions to the field of Education including Femina World Women Leadership Award, Brainfeed Lifetime Achievement Award and Best Educationalist in Hyderabad Award by Times, to name a few. Under her able guidance and leadership, Glendale was awarded #2 in the State!
Dreamer and Doer
Anjum is a dynamic lady with a dream in her heart, a desire to achieve and the passion to convert her dreams and desires into reality. Being a Lifelong Learner, she visualizes herself as a bee gathering the nectar of knowledge from myriad flowers across the globe and synthesising them to create the sweet honey of wisdom which she loves to share with others. She puts on a conscious effort to develop her own spectrum of Multiple Intelligence and 21st Century Skills in order to keep improving and updating her knowledge and skills. Her hobbies and passions span a wide range from indulging in yoga, meditation and spiritual book clubs to art pursuits like urban sketching, ikebana, from dance choreography and Zumba to martial art forms like Taichi and Qigong!
Zayaan Babukhan
Our Young and Dynamic Managing Director
Graduate from Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, with an undergraduate degree whilst double majoring in Business Management and Entrepreneurship respectively. Having inherited the excellent qualities of his parents, Salman and Anjum, he is currently the Managing Director of Springfields Education, which he is determined to drive to new heights at the next level.
Mrs. Sarwar Babukhan
Co-founder, Bashir and Sarwar Babukhan Trust (BSBT)
Wife of the Founder Chairman, Late Mr. Bashiruddin Babukhan, she has been an integral strength to the Springfields group of Schools through her prayers, encouragement and moral support. Mrs. Babukhan has always graced all major events with her presence and blessings. A benevolent champion of the family’s contribution to society in education and philanthropy. She now supervises the Bashir and Sarwar Babukhan Trust’s (BSBT) activities for economic empowerment of the poor.
Salman Babukhan
Co-Founder, Glendale and Springfields
“I believe the biggest service to mankind is by empowering people with Education and Skilling them to generate Gainful Employment and Preventive Healthcare.”
Salman is the silent foundation pillar who steered the Glendale and Springfields groups of institutions in the areas of infrastructure, administration, finance, marketing, human resources and logistics management. He is a philanthropist and a great advocate of social service and is a part of many charitable trusts.
Salman has been an Angel Investor, served on YPO committees and also has been associated with CII, TIE and other business organizations.
He studied at Harvard Business School in the OPM (Owner President Management) program and strongly believes in living life in Crescendo to learn, serve, create and innovate!

Humera Hyder

Humera Hyder M.A, B.Ed., Senior Principal, Springfields School, Tolichowki, has been associated with Springfields for more than two decades. She joined the school in 1996 as a counselor and was appointed the Headmistress the very next year. In 2012 she was promoted as the principal of Masab Tank School. Apart from her academic qualifications in Sociology, Psychology, English Literature and specialization in counseling, She has excelled in sports and represented her school, College and University in Athletics. She is a qualified Black Belt in Karate.
She is an academician by nature, and highly motivated, dynamic lady with strong beliefs in upholding the time honoured principles of training young minds at an early age enhancing the capabilities of students in a competitive environment. Her interest also lies in the teaching techniques which enable the student to grasp principles which lie at the root of all branches of learning, and leaves vivid impact to provide solid foundation for the young student to build a career and provide comprehensive educational experience. She has been providing valuable inputs and ensured balanced development of children assisting the resolution of their problems and enabling better student teacher interaction.
Throughout her illustrious career, she has been a pillar of excellence in the field of education. Her expertise extends to teacher training and mentoring, where she has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of educators. Ms.Humera Hyder is actively engaged in professional development by attending numerous training workshops and seminars. These initiatives not only enriched her own knowledge but also allowed her to bring innovative ideas and practices to Springfields.
She is not only an accomplished educator but also a mentor for other Springfields group of schools. Her guidance and leadership have contributed significantly to the growth and success of the Group. Her commitment to educational excellence, passion for teacher development, and continuous pursuit of knowledge make her an invaluable asset to Springfields.

Kiranmai, has a career spanning over two decades in the field of Education. Kiranmai has held pivotal roles as the principal of various prestigious schools. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds, especially in the challenging subject of Mathematics, has earned her an exceptional reputation as an educator.
Kiranmai’s extensive experience and commitment to education honed her into an outstanding administrator with remarkable leadership skills. Her untiring enthusiasm to foster a conducive learning environment and her strong grasp in all subjects makes her a visionary leader. Hameeda Kauser
is one of the recipients of our long service awards having completed her 25th year at Springfields recently. She is a dedicated, trustworthy, and proactive member of our team.
She has been functioning in leadership roles efficiently, particularly in challenging situations. She never hesitates to go the extra mile in discharging her duties to complete satisfaction of parents as well as management. She possesses good communication skills with empathy that enables her to inspire and motivate others. She leads by example and remains approachable to both students and colleagues.
Syeda Ruquia Fatima

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration and Economics from Osmania University. She also has a Certificate in Pre - Primary Teachers Training from Princess Esin Women's Education Centre. Her association with Springfields spans for almost three decades. She joined the school in the year 1996 as a Mother Teacher at Lower Kindergarten level. In recognition of her skills and experience she was promoted as a Head Teacher at Aghapura and Tadban Branches of Springfields Kids formerly.
She has a compassionate nature and is a very enthusiastic professional who is sincerely discharging her duties with great dedication and honesty.
